Justin Timberlake has explained the meaning behind his new album title, The 20/20 Experience. JT says that the title of his third studio album was inspired by music you can see and the perfect vision.
"It more or less came out of I was playing some of the stuff for my friends and they would come in and out of the studio," he told Ryan Seacrest.
"I'd say, 'What do you think of this?' And my best friend said, 'This is music that you can see', and for some reason that stuck with me."

JT also revealed that he's working on a new documentary since last June about the making of The 20/20 Experience and his return to music. He revealed that the clip of him walking into the studio during his "I'm ready" announcement was taken from the documentary.
"That little piece of footage is from a documentary that we started working on about the making of the album, which started in June," he said.
